Annabelle is a tired-ass showgirl who began her career in front of the camera. Alas, she got sick of being bossed around and switched sides. Her first feature, MICKEY AND THE BEAR, had an acclaimed world premiere at SXSW, where The Hollywood Reporter described it as “a sharp, affecting film that's brimming with darkness and hope, every instant of it vividly alive.” Variety named the film one of the ’11 Best Movies of 2019 SXSW’. The film went on to win the Grand Jury Award at IFFBoston and will soon play prestigious festivals such as Cannes Acid, Maryland, Montclair, Nantucket, Seattle, and Rooftop, among others. As a screenplay, MICKEY was an Academy Nicholl semifinalist, won the Melissa Mathison award at HIFF, and participated in labs at IFP and Film Independent. Her first short, FRANKIE KEEPS TALKING, has played over 30 festivals and won awards including Best Female Protagonist at NFFTY. She is a founding member of Thick Media.
