ANNABELLE ATTANASIO is a tired ass showgirl who began her career in front of the camera. Alas, she got sick of being bossed around by dudes and switched sides. Now she bosses them around instead. She just shot her first feature, MICKEY AND THE BEAR, which was an Academy Nicholl semifinalist, went through the labs at IFP, Film Independent, and HIFF, where she won the Melissa Mathison award. Her short, FRANKIE KEEPS TALKING, played over 30 festivals and won some awards, including Best Female Protagonist at NFFTY. Her films examine, criticize and satirize masculinity through an unapologetically female lens. Some of her favorite projects include the second season of Steven Soderbergh's "The Knick" where she played a scheming husband-stealer, and a series regular on CBS's "Bull” where she played the token, mumblecore millennial. She will leave the house after 9PM if there are drag queens involved.
